Quite some time ago I belonged to an online web design community that offered services and help to people who were looking to save money and do things themselves. The creator of familypages.net wanted to set up a site for their family and was looking for a neat logo, or header, to place on their page. After asking how to go about creating a good logo/header design, I offered to help out. I drew up several ideas, but this was the one they ultimately decided to go with as it reflected their family well.
